Rescue Boat is made from glass fiber reinforced plastics(GRP), Between the inner hull and outer hull filled with polyurethane foam to offer sufficient buoyancy.
Oil-resistance foam fenders are equipped on both sides of the rescue boat, and two layers of fixture rubber are installed outside to facilitate replacement.Steel handrails are installed on both sides of the boat for occupants.Self-discharging deck ensure quick discharge of water in the boat.
Glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) is a composite plastic made of glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin and phenolic resin as matrix materials.
The relative density of glass fiber reinforced plastics is between 1.5 and 2.0, which is only 1/4 to 1/5 of carbon steel. However, its tensile strength is close to or even exceeds that of carbon steel, and its strength is comparable to that of high-grade alloy steel. The tensile, bending and compressive strength of some epoxy FRP can even reach more than 400 MPa.
