IMO Marine 15ppm Bilge Separator Oil-Water Separator with Certification
International Maritime Organization (IMO) Regulations:
The use of oil-water separators is mandated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the international regulatory body for the shipping industry. The International Maritime Organization sets guidelines and standards to prevent pollution from ships and requires ships to have efficient oil-water separators on board.
Marine bilge oil-water separator is an efficient, safe and reliable environmental protection equipment, which is widely used on various types of ships.
It adopts advanced separation technology and equipment to achieve efficient oil-water separation and ensure that the effluent water quality meets environmental protection standards,made an important contribution to the marine environment.
YWC Series 15ppm Bilge Separator (15ppm Bilge Separator) is a kind of environmental protection product designed based on International Maritime Organization IMO MEPC 107(49) standard, the oil content in effluent water ≤ 15ppm. This separator is the high-tech newest product which can effectively dispose all kinds of fluids in bilge water including fuel oil, high-density residual oil and emulsion mixture combined with black ferric oxide and surfactant.
YWC Series 15ppm Bilge Separator (15ppm Bilge Separator) of 9 types with the capacity from 0.25m3/h to 5.00 m3/h, The smallest type is YWC-0.25 which can be installed on ship less than 1000DWT. The biggest type is YWC-5.00 which can be installed on ship more than 300 thousand DWT. This separator can also be used in industrial and petroleum, besides in ship vessels. The effluent oil content from YWC can meet any standards of Environment Bureau in China.
YWC Series 15ppm Bilge Separator (15ppm Bilge Separator) has been obtained the Type Approval of CCS, (GL) EC and IMO circular in July 2007. USCG is applying, will be coming soon in 2009.
