Solas Approved 25 Man Throw Overboard Type Inflatable Life Raft and Survival Boat
Life rafts are life-saving equipment that are equipped on every ocean-going merchant ship or passenger ship in addition tolifeboats.
In an emergency, the evacuation from the ship does notneed to manually launch any life rafts, just throw the life rafts into the water, the life rafts will be opened under the action of the hydrostatic release unit under the pressure in the water, and the life rafts will be automatically inflated.
The life raft for launching off-board shall be carried on either side of the ship for ready transfer for launching.

Life Raft Inflation Method:
After throwning over from ships, the life raft can be inflated and opened automatically. If the ship sinks very fast and the life raft cannot be thrown-over, the raft still can float up from water under the action of Hydrostatic Release Unit and can be inflated and opened automatically.
