Life Raft
Davit launched an Inflatable liferaft to be connected to the single-arm liferaft davit and then inflated, thus enabling the evacuees to board the Life Raft from the ship Deck. Davit launched liferafts that passed CCS and EC Certification. It is widely used on passenger ships and cargo vessels due to its special effect.

Inflation Method: After throwing over from ships, the life raft can be inflated and opened automatically. If the ship sinks very fast and the life raft cannot be thrown over, the raft still can float up from the water under the action of the Hydrostatic Release Unit and can be inflated and opened automatically.

When the life raft is fully loaded with personnel and equipment, it can withstand the lateral impact on the side of the ship at an impact speed of not less than 3.5m/s and can withstand the ability to fall into the water from a height of not less than 3.5m/s. Less than 3meters, no damage affecting its function.
Provide means to bring the liferaft alongside the embarkation deck and secure it securely during boarding.
Davit-launched liferafts in every passenger ship shall be arranged so as to be accessible to all persons on board. Davit-launched liferafts on every cargo ship shall be arranged to be ready for boarding by all persons not later than 3 minutes after the order to board is given.

A rigid life raft for use with an approved launching appliance shall when suspended from its lifting hook or bridle, withstand a load of 4 times the mass of its full complement of persons and equipment.
Davit launched survival craft muster and embarkation stations shall be so arranged as to enable stretcher cases to be placed in the survival craft. They shall also be stowed within easy reach of the lifting hooks unless some means of transfer is provided which is not rendered inoperable within the limits of trim and list specified by the regulations.
Where necessary, means shall be provided for bringing the davit-launched life raft against the ship's side and holding it alongside so that persons can be safely embarked.
Every life raft launching appliance shall comply with the general requirements for launching appliances except with regard to the use of gravity for turning out the appliance, embarkation in the stowed position, and recovery of the loaded raft. The arrangement should not allow premature release during lowering and shall release the raft when waterborne.
