2.5m3/H IMO Marine Oily Water Separator

2.5m3/H Imo Marine Oily Water Separator 15ppm Bilge Water Separator Bws for Sale

According to the relevant provisions of Annex I of the MARPOL Convention, the discharge of bilge water from the machinery spaces of all ships with a gross tonnage of 400 (GT) and above should meet the following requirements:
the ship is not in the zero-discharge area;
the ship is sailing;
the oil-water mixture has passed through a place that meets the requirements Treatment by oil filtering equipment;
the oil content of undiluted effluent does not exceed 15 ppm; the oil-water mixture does not come from the bilge of the cargo pump room of the oil tanker;
the oil-water mixture is not mixed with cargo oil residues (for oil tankers)

The OWS is equipped with a 15ppm alarm device/oil content meter. When the oil content in the discharge exceeds 15ppm, it can sound an alarm and automatically stop the discharge of oily substances.
