A self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) is a device that automatically supplies breathable gas in an environment that poses an immediate risk to life or health. They are commonly used in fire protection and industry.

Air respirators are also called air-storage gas masks and sometimes fire-fighting masks. It uses a compressed gas cylinder as the gas source, but the gas contained in the cylinder is compressed air.

Working principle
Air respirators are positive pressure self-contained open respirators that utilize compressed air.

The wearer exhales air from the lungs and discharges it into the atmosphere through the full-face mask and breathing valve.

When the worker exhales, an appropriate amount of fresh air is opened and closed from the gas storage cylinder, the soft conduit supply valve in the pressure reducer, and the full-face mask inhale the gas into the human lungs, completing the entire breathing cycle process.
