Typically, rescue boats are used as work boats or perform various tasks such as rescue missions, inspections, patrols and surveys.
The hull and deck are made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), while all the boat's fittings are made of stainless steel to enhance its corrosion resistance.
Meets SOLAS requirements
•Not less than 3.8 meters in length and not more than 8.5 meters in length. This rescue boat is 4.5 meters.
•Capable of carrying at least five seated persons and one person lying on a stretcher.
•The rescue boat should be able to maneuver at a speed of at least 6 knots and maintain that speed for at least 4 hours.
•The lifeboat has sufficient maneuverability and maneuverability to be able to rescue people from the water.
•The lifeboat should be equipped with an inboard engine or an outboard engine, this rescue boat can be configured as needed.
Fiberglass hull
1. Lightweight and high strength: FRP has good strength and stiffness while being relatively lightweight. This allows the rescue boat to maintain a low weight while maintaining sufficient structural strength, improving the hull's maneuverability and fuel efficiency.
2. Resistance to seawater erosion: The surface of FRP is not easily eroded by seawater, which helps to reduce the adhesion of organisms in the water, reduce frictional resistance, and improve the speed and fuel efficiency of the hull.
3. Forming flexibility: FRP can be formed by molding or manual lamination, which has greater flexibility, so it can achieve a variety of shapes and design requirements, including V-shaped hulls, etc., to adapt to different offshore operating conditions.
4. Good insulation properties: FRP has good electrical insulation properties, which helps reduce the contact between the hull and the electrolyte in the water and reduces the risk of electrical corrosion.
