3.Lifeboat release process


3.1 Initiate Release Mechanism
The release mechanism is activated, often by pulling a lever or releasing a hook, which begins the process.

3 .2 Swing Outward
As the lifeboat is released, it swings outward from its stowed position, typically located on the ship's deck or other designated area.

3.3 Invert and Lower
Once released, the lifeboat undergoes an inversion process, turning from an upright position to an inverted one. Simultaneously, it begins to lower towards the water.

3.4 Water Entry
The lifeboat, now inverted, enters the water, ready for occupants to board and utilize it as a means of evacuation.

This process ensures a quick and efficient deployment of the lifeboat in emergency situations, allowing for a rapid and safe evacuation of individuals from the ship.
