Gravity luffing arm davit is lowering lifeboat and rescue boat depending on boat self weight, and recovering the lifeboat& rescue boat using electric boat winch.
Design,manufacture and test of the davit fully comply with relevant requirements of 1996 amendment of 1974 International Convention for the safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) and resolutions of Maritime Safety Committee MSC.81(70)
The Boat is lowered by the remote control.

Mechanical Structure Components
1. Launching Ramp: It is the track along which the lifeboat slides into the water. Usually inclined, it enables the lifeboat to slide into the water quickly under the action of gravity.
2. Support Frame: Used to support and fix components such as the launching ramp, ensuring the structural stability of the entire appliance and enabling it to bear the weight and acting forces generated during the use of the lifeboat and related operations.
3. Davit Arm: Some appliances are equipped with movable davit arms, which are used to assist in positioning and retrieving the lifeboat and can adjust the position of the lifeboat within a certain range.
Power and Control Components
1. Winch: Used to hoist the lifeboat from the water and reset it to the stowed position after the lifeboat has completed its mission. It is usually driven by electricity or hydraulics.
