A free-fall lifeboat is an ingenious device designed to save lives in an emergency.
When an emergency occurs, the free-fall lifeboat davit uses gravity to deploy the lifeboat into the water at high speed, allowing it to quickly move away from the Damaged vessels.
Its unique design ensures a controlled launch of the lifeboat, reducing the chance of damage to the lifeboat and its occupants. Once in the water, the lifeboat can be maneuvered to safety, providing safe refuge for those on board.

The free-fall lifeboat davit consists of launching device, Electric winch and launching mechanism. The launcher supports the lifeboat and positions it in a free fall position. The winch provides the power to lower the lifeboat into the water and retrieve it onto the deck of the offshore facility. The davit supports and articulates the launching mechanism, which operates the release of the lifeboat.
