When the ship sinks to the sea ,sea water enters the storage chamber of the unit through its inlet,water pressure on the diaphragm in turn presses the spring ,then force the short shaft moving in ward

Pulling the split pin out and pushing the small link on the connecting link upward

1. Application
The hydrostatic release unit is inflating life raft rapid release equipment. When the boat sink in accident, they can make the inflating liferafts separate automatically with sinking boats at the water depth of 2-4 meters, so that the aim of saving life can be achieved.

The hydrostatic release unit comply with the amendment 1996 of 1974 SOLAS convention and the international life-saving applicance n code LSA. MSC. 81(70)
