Product description

Fire hoses are very long tubular fabrics for firefighting purposes and should be made of approved non-corrosive materials. The most commonly used material is a synthetic fabric lined with rubber and coated with polyvinyl chloride. These hoses are solid and unaffected by oil, most chemicals, mold and rot, as well as heat and cold weather. Each fire hose used in ships should be equipped with a water gun and the necessary joints, and the length of the hose should be at least 10 meters, but not more than 15 meters for machine premises; not more than 20 meters for other premises and open decks; not more than 25 meters for the open decks of the largest ships over 30 meters wide, with a diameter of 50 mm and 65 mm, and sometimes 80 mm diameter Water belt.

Requirements: For passenger ships, each required hydrant should be equipped with at least 1 fire hose, and for the interior premises of passenger ships carrying more than 36 passengers, the fire hose should always be connected to the hydrant. For cargo ships over 1000 gross tons, the number of fire hoses required shall be one for every 30 meters of ship's length, with one spare, but not less than five in total. This number does not include the hose required for the engine room. For cargo ships not exceeding 1000 GT, there should be not less than 3 fire hoses.
