1.Functional Characteristics

4.Different Driven Type of Marine Thruters
4.1.Diesel engine driven marine bow thrusters:
Engine driven thrusters for direct engine drive are available in the range of 250 to 3,000 HP. The engine must be provided with a marine gear with a reduction ratio to match the input speed. A cardan shaft connects between the output shaft of the marine gear and the input shaft. 

 4.2.Electric driven marine bow thrusters
Electric driven thrusters with fixed pitch propeller are available from 250 to 10,750 HP (8.0MW). They are designed for variable speed electric motor input, either DC with SCR control systems or AC with variable frequency drives.

4.3.Hydraulic driven marine bow thrusters: 
We offer a great line of hydraulic thrusters. They are used all over the world, many of them in dynamic positioning applications. hydraulic thrusters are available from 35hp to 2,000hp.
