The role of rescue boats
Rescue boats are the most important life-saving tools on ships, used to rescue crew members in distress through rescue operations in emergencies. The rescue boat has two functions. First, when a person in danger falls into the sea and is unable to swim, the rescue vessel should be in a suitable position to save lives in this crisis situation.
Secondly, rescue boats provide a way for crew members to rescue themselves when facing danger.
Rescue boats are usually equipped with advanced navigation systems, communication equipment, and life-saving equipment such as life rafts, life jackets, and buoys. In addition, some rescue boats are equipped with special equipment such as sonar and radar, which can be used to detect objects and people in distress.
