The inflatable liferaft is made of rubber, nylon cloth and other materials. It is inflated with gas to form a round or oval small raft with a canopy.

The liferaft mainly consists of four parts: raft body, tent post, tent, raft bottom and some accessories.

Inflatable life raft is in accordance with SOLAS(74//96), MSC.81((70), MSC.218(82)
and LSA, etc.

 
Marine  Life Raft  Applications
In the event of an onboard disaster, life rafts serve as crucial tools for emergency evacuation. These rafts are equipped with either automatic inflating tanks or mechanical pumps.

 On the ship, a well-designed quick release and pressure release mechanism is incorporated, ensuring the life raft is swiftly and automatically inflated, freeing it from the sinking ship.


Life Raft Inflation Method
After throwning over from ships, the life raft can be inflated and opened automatically. If the ship sinks very fast and the life raft cannot be thrown-over, the raft still can float up from water under the action of Hydrostatic Release Unit and can be inflated and opened automatically.
